Beginner Level Pottery and Ceramics


AED 200.00 + VAT per class

Beginner students will learn the basics of throwing very quickly because of our theoretical approach. As students develop their skills they can work on design ideas and decoration of pottery surfaces

Course outline: Participants will learn the basics of wheel throwing techniques for creating pottery. these sessions will introduce you to entering, pulling, trimming and shaping clay on the wheel. you will also learn how to use different tools, how to prepare your clay, tips on structure and design. Participants will learn how to trim their pottery and create basic and advanced forms. 


Trail session: AED 200.00 : Firing Not Included

4 sessions: AED 720.00

6 sessions: AED 1020.00

10 sessions: AED 1600.00

All fees are subject to 5% VAT.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Fees are non-refundable. 

  • Only kiln worthy objects will be fired. The studio staff will decided what is kiln worthy.

  • Weekly sessions are offered in packs of 4 and 6 and may not be pro-rated or discounted. 

  • Trial classes do not include firing services.

Classes guidelines:


  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes that are easy to clean​

  • Please sign your objects before placing them on the bisque shelf. Objects not signed will not be fired.

  • Kindly consult with the studio staff about storing your tools and clay.

  • Please bring a bucket/container to keep your clay trimming for recycling.
