Beginner Level Pottery and Ceramics

Handbuilding sessions: Beginner/ Advanced / Tile carving
AED 189 per person/ session


These sessions are for the first timers, beginner level students, hobby artists wish to work with a tutor. The benefit of this session is that it is available many times a week, weekdays and weekends. You can join any session and manage your own schedule,. This session imperfect for making dinnerware, functional objects, fun figures and playful ceramics. 

Session outline: Participants learn the basics of handbuildiung for creating fun and functional pottery. These sessions will introduce you to the art of pottery and ceramics. You will also learn how to use different tools, how to prepare different tools, how to prepare your clay, tips on structure and design.

Trial session: AED 189 - Firing not included
4 SESSIONS: AED 777
6 SESSIONS: 1060.55
10 SESSIONS: AED 1617
5% friend discount (available for first friend only) 

Terms and Conditions:

From day of purchase, 2 month validity.
For trial: once first session is done, 1 month to come glaze and then max 2 months to come collect the piece. 
Fees are non-refundable.
All classes must be paid in advance.
Studio membership is not required.
Classes booked must come every week, we will only allow 1 week to miss

We understand how important it is for you to put into practice what you learn during class time. To ensure that you gain confidence fast, we are are offering all registered students a 10% discount on any of our membership packages. 

Terms and Conditions:

  • Fees are non-refundable. 

  • Only kiln worthy objects will be fired. The studio staff will decide what is kiln worthy.

  • Weekly sessions are offered in packs of 4 and 6 and may not be pro-rated or discounted. 

  • Trial classes do not include firing services.

Classes guidelines:

 

  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes that are easy to clean​

  • Please sign your objects before placing them on the bisque shelf. Objects not signed will not be fired.

  • Kindly consult with the studio staff about storing your tools and clay.

  • Please bring a bucket/container to keep your clay trimming for recycling.
